Apple Orchard Bisquick Cobbler

Apple Orchard Bisquick Cobbler is an easy fall dessert made with tender apples, cinnamon, butter, cream, and Bisquick. Serve this cozy homemade cobbler warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Ingredients  

  • ¾ C. Sugar
  • 1 C. Water
  • C. Apples Peeled, Cored & Diced
  • 1 C. Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 2 tbsp. Sugar
  • 1/2 C. Whipping Cream
  • ½ tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. Butter

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Core and dice enough apples to make 1½ cups.
  • Combine ¾ cup sugar and water in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add the diced apples and cook until they begin to soften.
  • Combine Bisquick, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and cream in a bowl. Mix just until combined.
  • Drop the Bisquick dough by spoonfuls into a baking pan.
  • Carefully pour the hot apple mixture over the dough.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the top.
  • Cut the butter into small pieces and scatter them over the cobbler.
  • Bake at 400°F for approximately 20-25minutes, or until baked through and golden.
  • Serve warm, preferably with vanilla ice cream.
