Taco Seasoning

This homemade taco seasoning is a quick, easy blend of pantry spices that adds bold flavor to beef, chicken, shrimp, or veggies without the fillers found in store-bought packets.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tbsp. Chili Powder
  • 4 1/2 tsp. Cumin
  • 3 3/4 tsp. Garlic Salt
  • 3 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1/8 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 3 tsp. Cornstarch
  • 3 tsp. Smoked Paprika
  • 3 1/2 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Coriander

Instructions
 

  • With a whisk, mix all the ingredients together.
  • Store in air tight container.

For Tacos:

  • Add 3 Tbsp. of the taco seasoning to 1/3 c. warm water and mix till combined.
  • Once combined add to your cooked meat.

Notes

  • You can also add or decrease the seasoning mix according to your taste buds.
  • This recipe is equivalent to 3 regular-sized, store-bought taco seasoning packets.
