It’s Tuesday evening, and guess what that means? It’s Tuesday evening, and guess what that means? 🌿 SHAKE YOUR VANILLA BEANS! 🌿 Yep. Go find those bottles hiding in the pantry and give them a good shake. They’ve had all week to lounge around in their little boozy bath. Time to put them back to work. 😂 Every shake helps move those gorgeous vanilla flavors around and gives us another excuse to peek at our homemade extract and whisper, “Are you ready yet?” Spoiler: probably not. Vanilla operates on its own schedule and apparently does not care about our impatience. So grab those bottles. Give ’em a shake. Admire those beautiful beans. Check the color. They can ALL make homemade vanilla extract, but what you pour over those beans can completely change the flavor you eventually pour into your cookies, cakes, frostings, and everything else coming out of your kitchen.
